This makeup is so much fun, but sometimes it seems a little overwhelming because there's so much you can do with it.. especially when you start mixing different colors.:0) But it's fun and rewarding when you create something pretty though.
As for the lip colors, everyone has their own way of doing it. All I did was order some of the little pots from Lisa, put a little of my favorite lip balm or gloss in it, add my color of choice then mix.
With the balm, I did do a couple where I put the balm in the microwave for a couple of seconds just to soften it, but if you get distracted you have a big mess. With all the kids running around here .. let's just say I've had a couple of messes. :0)lol.
I did buy some labels from Staples to make it easier to keep track of what was in what.
The 3/4" round Avery labels work great for the sample jars that Lisa sends our stuff in, and you can put them on top of the purple jars, but I've been using the Avery multi-use labels for those.
They're 5/16x1/2 and come with 1,000 in a package. These also work great for keeping the lids from unscrewing when you're traveling.
Everyone here has such great ideas. But by the time I get around to trying them I've forgotten what I wanted to try... So I've started cheating. As soon as someone posts a great idea I print it off and stick it in my file.
My hubbie's going out of town for a couple trips this month and in May/June.
With no one telling me I should go to bed, I figure once the kids are down for the night I'm going to break out my file and go to town! At least I'll have something to look forward to while he's gone. :0( I'm sure, in the morning, I'll have to explain to the kids why mom's multi-colored, shimmering and glimmering though. :0)LOL!
Have fun with the lip colors! :0)

Okay, I've spent so much of the last week getting to know the foundation and eye colors. How do I make True into a lip color?
Mich <bbabmontret@...
That sounds really pretty as well. [INLINE]
Nude Beach is my favorite color.. I wear it just about every day. I mixed it with Queen Tiffany as a liner.. it really brightened up my eyes.
True is really pretty as a lip color too.
Actually, just about any shadow makes a great lip color :0) ...

My first order of colors to play with were almost all purples...except for nude beach and moonstruck. So, this morning I tried foiling nude beach on the lid with true as the crease color. I just needed something a little more neutral. I REALLY liked the look. I highly suggest trying true as an eyeshadow color for those who haven't yet. It didn't look too pinky, which I had expected, so it was a pleasant surprise.

That sounds really pretty.. I ordered Haze last night
so I can actually try your comb when it gets here. :0)
I mixed Liberty (which is to dark for me) with a
little Pixy this morning and really liked the shade.
Pixy lightened it up enough that I didn't look like I
lost in a round on "the Contender". LOL. But I didn't
realize I hadn't blended it till I walked out the door
and my husband said "OH MY! You look great but you
might want to do something about the line..." LOL!!
I'm glad he told me before I headed out the door!!
Thanks for the color combo.
